It doesn't have a touchpad or screen but other than that this remote works like most of us should

I am using a very powerful Onkyo AV Receiver as the centerpiece of a projection TV in my attic and it worked through it's own way any Apple TV and its remote control, both wand and app. I bought two of these Aaroo sticks knowing that each can control sound on devices other than the Apple TV. When I got it, it wasn't immediately clear how the Onkyo volume control (up, down, mute) should be linked, so I used the Revain/aaroogo chat utility. There I was severely reprimanded that the Aaru wand couldn't control Onkyo, it wasn't on his list of 12 gadgets, poor thing. So I asked him to just pretend I didn't tell Onkyo and read me the factory instructions from their manual. He refused and demanded to accept a refund and return two remotes. Not me. I put them aside until I found my bow and could read the tiny instructions on the paper strip that came with it. In less than a minute, each aaroo remote learned to turn on, off, and mute from the Onkyo remote, and I have working remotes at every display station in my home theater. Cool. Yes, but I feel sorry for the capable engineers at aaroogo whose brilliant device receives such pathetic support. Potential millions of dollars in revenue are at risk, possibly lost, and Apple doesn't mind incompetent competition.
