Much better than the original silver controller

This remote control is a little larger than the original, which is good. Button presses feel more aware and easier to use. on Apple TV, but it works great with our Sony TV, where it controls power, volume, and input selection. Everything from every angle. Super helpful.

A good replacement for Apple TV remote control.

This is an easy-to-use Apple TV remote that can also turn TVs on and off and control volume for many brands. The only downside is that there is no "TV" button, which is needed to close individual running apps. It also doesn't support Siri, but we don't use the hat function on the Apple TV remote anyway.

Very good value for money product

This is a good product as a remote replacement for almost all Apple TV players. By default it is configured to work with a Samsung TV and an Apple TV Player. It can also be reprogrammed to work with other TV brands (I've tried both Samsung and Sony). The on/off switch and the input and home selection buttons are very practical. After using the remote for a week, I bought two more. So far, so good.

Works perfectly, no tuning required!

Amazing! All I had to do was put in 2 AAA batteries and the thing worked straight away on my Apple TV HD (4th gen). My kids keep losing my original Apple remote and I really didn't want to pay $60 for a new one when the old one is around here and works great. But I love my Apple TV and it's impossible to use without a remote control, so I'm so glad this option is available! I didn't try to adjust the volume, but the most important thing for me was controlling the Apple TV, so I'm very happy!

No Bluetooth device but "pairing " required?

This remote is only described as IR (infrared only) but the tiny instruction manual that came with it says 'pair' with your Apple TV. It makes no sense. Infrared remote controls do not need to be paired. Sometimes they need to be adjusted (e.g. to choose a TV brand) but they don't need to be paired. But the manual for it says you need to pair - and wait for certain icons to appear on screen, implying Bluetooth capability. I tried to pair my device with an Apple TV 4K but I couldn't see theโ€ฆ

No USB port to charge the battery

Big fatal flaw, if you want to clone APPLE you have to do it with precision, you missed a very important part that probably makes the price around $0 will increase .75 and for that reason i will not be ordering from you anymore and let you know that not even a usb charging cable is required to change the batteries charger for the device and you get 100% winner. I don't know what will happen with the new device now. OK, I'm still here, thanks, thanks.

Nearly perfect! in Remote Controls

The glass on my Apple Remote was cracked (because Apple has to make everything out of glass, why?!?!) so I got these as a cheap replacement. I love that it controls both my TV and AppleTV, the remote does pretty much everything the original does except for one important thing. No way to close apps! Double-tap and swipe apps on the original remote or iPhone app to close them, just like you would on a phone. I still have to use the iPhone app from time to time because of this, but overall youโ€ฆ

Great replacement! . with several workarounds.

Great controller. Works with all old and new TVs. It took me a while to realize that some TVs and AppleTvs turn on when you press the power button, the ones that just turn on the TV. All you have to do is press the menu button and the AppleTV should turn on. I kept trying to program it and only gave up because I accidentally hit the menu and it popped up right away. And the same goes for shutdown. If you press the menu button first, you can use the power button to turn off your TV and AppleTVโ€ฆ

It doesn't have a touchpad or screen but other than that this remote works like most of us should

I am using a very powerful Onkyo AV Receiver as the centerpiece of a projection TV in my attic and it worked through it's own way any Apple TV and its remote control, both wand and app. I bought two of these Aaroo sticks knowing that each can control sound on devices other than the Apple TV. When I got it, it wasn't immediately clear how the Onkyo volume control (up, down, mute) should be linked, so I used the Revain/aaroogo chat utility. There I was severely reprimanded that the Aaru wandโ€ฆ
