Great controller. Works with all old and new TVs. It took me a while to realize that some TVs and AppleTvs turn on when you press the power button, the ones that just turn on the TV. All you have to do is press the menu button and the AppleTV should turn on. I kept trying to program it and only gave up because I accidentally hit the menu and it popped up right away. And the same goes for shutdown. If you press the menu button first, you can use the power button to turn off your TV and AppleTV. A small problem - the keys can sound loud. Sounds silly and when I read another review that pointed this out I laughed a little - but when someone is sleeping and/or quiet. then the keys can sound hard! Also, sometimes you can't switch while using YouTube - you can only start/stop. Small inconveniences, but if you need to rewind, you need to access AppleTV's remote app on your phone, etc. Overall good value for money! Pros: Can turn on both TV and AppleTV. Good size - behaves like a small silver AppleTV remote. (low!): No voice control. You may need to use the menu to turn your TV and AppleTV on and off. Small switching problems. Loud buttons :)
