The first one came and didn't work at all. So we went back and ordered more. The next one worked about 3 days, then the hand stopped working normally. Now the hand no longer moves electronically. You have to manually move it and put it on the platter, which is dangerous because that way you can accidentally scratch the platter. So we're returning the second one because we're afraid that if we save it we'll scratch our records and, even worse, something else will go wrong with the player after the return window closes. To say I'm disappointed is an understatement. I love all things British and bought a UK flag design and it was from the late 80's/early 90's when I used the record player. The feeling of playing the record was second to none as I used it all day. Now I have to use my husband's record player and I don't have my own. Very upset with this purchase, it's cheap and crappy. DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME PURCHASING IF YOU DON'T WANT TO RETURN THE ITEM SEVERAL TIMES!
