I purchased the EBL battery charger because the cost of disposable batteries has gotten so high. This charger is very reasonably priced. It is equipped to charge 8 batteries, AAA and AA. You can charge either 8 of one size or in sets of each type. It also came with 4 of each type of batteries. When I received it, I plugged it in and installed the batteries to charge. It took 2 1/2 hours to charge the AAA batteries and about 3 hours to charge the AA batteries. The charger has lights that indicate the batteries are charging, for every set of 2 batteries. The lights turn red when the batteries are charging and turn green when the charge is complete. It's very easy to install the batteries.I've used the AAA batteries for 3 nights in my head light that I use when I go out and the light seems to stay brighter than with the disposable batteries. The disposables would start to dim before I came back inside after using them for a couple of nights but these are just as bright as the first night. I usually stay out approximately an hour. I have a AA in my wireless mouse so it should last a while. I'm very happy with my purchase of the charger and the batteries and am going to save a lot of money now!
