I chose this to try an external TV at a sporting event. It kind of worked, but I can see what the use case is for. The adapter was able to connect to my cable box indoors and transmit to a TV not far across the wall outside. However, it should NOT be THAT FAR out. While it works, I think it's better suited for use in a bar, restaurant, or office where someone wants to project the same thing onto multiple TVs without having to run cables everywhere. . Fast video can be choppy, especially if it's not that far away, and 50 feet I would say there will be more for static images in the same large space. In general, all this "works", but do not try to use it for sports. like me.
