I bought this for my partner who needed a decent mic. The built in volume control and mute buttons are a nice touch! The ring around the handle glows green when you're live and red when you're muted, so you can ask your partner to bring you doodles so no one can hear you in Discord chat. But seriously, the indicator comes in handy. It also has cool RGB Gamer Lights on the sides of the base that can be toggled on and off with a small button on top. The effect is good, the colors alternate at a reasonable pace. The sound quality is nice! My partner sounds nice and clear on voice calls and even recorded an episode or two for a podcast with this mic and the audio is fine. Of course, this is not the quality of a professional recording studio, but it is much better than the built-in microphone of a webcam or using a telephone.
