This did exactly what we needed on hardwood floors too. Accidents happen to puppies, and if you're not careful you can miss an accident so long it goes into the wooden floor, which happened to us. We cleaned up as soon as we saw it but the smell suggested the urine had gotten into the wooden floor. Problem so I sprayed the whole area where the smell was coming from. The smell of this product can be strong but not unpleasant. I let it dry and didn't try to remove the excess. After two applications the floor was odor free. I have since used it on carpets and it has worked just as well. I will buy again and would recommend if you have fabric or floor odor issues.
