This rug is absolutely beautiful and is exactly what I wanted for my shabby chic bedroom. It’s not plush and the edges are thicker and not very comfortable if you step on that part, but otherwise the rug is soft and a lot more comfortable than the cold bare floor I had to step onto before. I haven’t washed it yet, but being washable was a must for me because I have a dog and a cat who from time to time have accidents. If/when I need to wash this rug I will update my review.Update: cat threw up so I had to wash it, it came out just like new. I did it on a rack in the shower though because it seems too big for our washer and we do not have a laundromat nearby.
