Received this to replace an old phone mount that I liked but cracked after a few years. This one seems to be of better quality. I wiped down the dashboard with a Clorox cloth and waited for the surface to dry before gluing it to the dashboard. It seems to have a great connection but I've noticed a few reviews with sticking issues so I'll update this in a month or two. My only complaint so far has been the lack of assembly instructions. It was pretty easy, but I was a little afraid of breaking the ball joint and wanted to make sure I was doing it right.
