At the time of purchase this was a risky purchase as there were no reviews for it and I couldn't find any information on JHS. It seems that most of the portable air conditioners on the market these days are mass-produced and sold under different brand names, so there is not much difference in functionality and quality. In general, they all work pretty well regardless of the brand. I was drawn to this particular model for its low price (at the time it was $250 excluding tax and free Prime two-day shipping) combined with good power efficiency. Review and a good list of features including weighing just 44 pounds. So far I am very satisfied with his work. I have never had to drain the water and use it every day 6-8 hours a day. Unfortunately, my room is incredibly hot - temperatures can hit 90 degrees by midday under the California sun, so I don't think air conditioning can cool this room on those hot summer days. But I'm happy when I address it directly to myself, and that's enough for me. But on cloudy days or at night it blows REALLY cold air and cools the room down quickly. Overall I am very happy with my purchase and I think I made the right choice. See my video review for details!
