I do not recommend buying this product at all! 😡 As we all know, schools have been canceled for the remainder of the 2020 school year and we as parents (especially those of us who work in healthcare) have struggled to create informative and educational lesson plans. As a "science project/responsibility/cool pet" I bought this ant farm for my 8 year old twins. I spent nearly $40 on a box of a real ant farm, and unpacking it turned out I had to pay another $30 for live ants, food, and sand for them to dig a tunnel! Are you kidding me?!?!? My advice?: DO NOT BUY ANY PRODUCT FROM THIS SELLER! I would have asked for my money back if my girls weren't so excited about the ant farm.
