I've always had a personal fax line that cost me over $20 a month. I've moved and was trying to cut costs, but since most of us need to fax something from time to time, I was looking for a cheaper option. I know they had splitters years ago but because I had a business I just broke down and got a separate line. Since I no longer own a business, but need an occasional fax, I was looking for a cheaper way to fax with my all-in-one. Well I stumbled across this little guy. GREAT. It worked right away, now I don't have to disconnect the phone line and plug it into my all-in-one to send a fax. Please understand that, unlike my husband, you cannot make phone calls and send faxes at the same time. Choose the one or the other that you want to use at this moment. I explained to him that you can use his cell phone and fax if necessary.
