Review on πŸ“ Jielisi 12 Inch A4 Paper Cutter with Automatic Security Safeguard Guillotine - Ideal for Coupon, Craft Paper, Label, and Photo - Black by Kelsey Brown

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Easy but accurate.

The price is impressive. Despite being made of polystyrene, it looks well designed and well made. joints are tight. The lines are straight. The angles and measurements appear to be accurate. You can't throw rocks at it or throw pesky people at it, but it should be able to withstand fairly careful use. "Instructions" is a joke - literally. They were clearly translated into English, but by whom, from what language, and why is a complete mystery. (Instead of insidious mistranslations, they're riddled with odd misspellings and typos.) But there's not much to analyze here, so chuckle and move on. Two blades is a mystery. Since they are identical, one should only be a substitute. The blades appear to be interchangeable but I have no idea where to purchase them. (Fiskars sells similar blades for a similar cutter. They might fit.) If you cut enough to eventually wear out the blades, you might want to buy a heavier block anyway. The blades don't "turn" despite Revain's classification - they're just sharpened metal blades. The blades have two cutting edges so you can cut in either direction. It won't cut more than a few leaves at a time and probably won't last a lifetime, but so far I'm enjoying it.

Pros
  • Stationery and school supplies
Cons
  • I don't remember, but there was something
