
They are exactly what they say they are. 1 1/4 inches long. This means you can't drill 1-1/2" of a nominal 2x4. My only guess is that where these things were made they must use 1-1/4" lumber. It doesn't matter if you just want to drill starter screw holes or 1x drill wood they are great don't dangle like the regular bits everyone uses and they drill fast it's just so frustrating they didn't add an extra quarter inch for the US market PS I have no idea why they included a dual head Phillips cutter.
