Works through glass

We have a camera by the window by the front door and its motion sensor works through the glass. I can view live camera feeds on my phone and also view previous motion alerts or time periods. The app is a bit frustrating at first and the camera didn't recognize the SD card initially, but after a few swipes of the card it finally recognized it.
