I've been working with resins for about four years. I've tried tons of different types of resins. Each resin reacts and behaves slightly differently. It seems like every resin I've used has its pros and cons. I really wanted to find a very versatile, reliable resin with predictable results that is healthier to use as I spend a lot of time on resin projects. I am very happy that I found this resin for many reasons! With this resin, my projects included sausage boards, geode coasters, some resin canvas art, and I also attempted to cover a small wooden coffee table with it. All my projects are running very smoothly and I am happy more to do. Here's why I recommend this resin for both novice and experienced resin users. 1. It's really easy to use: It mixes to a nice pouring consistency. It's a bit thicker than some resins, but I find it easier to control where it goes that way. It gels slower than many other resins so it's great that I have more time to work on my projects. Less stress knowing the resin won't cure too quickly.2. The bubbles come off very easily, there were no problems with the bubbles. I used a torch, the straw method, and a heat gun. They all work great. Also, the heat gun does some cool stuff by forcing the paint into my Art3 resin painting. It goes great with many types of pigments and glitters and I love how the colors come out. My colors are brilliant and create cool effects! 4. It has an amazing shine. looks like glass. The way it levels itself leaves a perfectly smooth, smooth finish5. So happy it doesn't smell or smoke after having so many different resins around which is a top priority for me. It's nice to work with a healthier resin.6. It is very cheap compared to other brands. Resin is a moderately expensive art material so it's fantastic that I found an affordable brand that I'm happy with.
