This is the flat black paper I have used for gift wrapping and can also be used for other purposes where strong paper is needed. It's not shiny or jet black, but it makes a great base for other jewelry. You can combine it with any other color and it will look great. I have to say that my wrapped gift looked very nice between all the gift bags and a few commented on how good the gift looked. It creases well and is light in weight, making it easy to trim. I tried printing it with white ink but the pattern came out very dull so I gave up the idea. I'm not sure if my ink pad needs ink or if the paper won't accept ink.
