UPDATE: The seller saw my first one star review and quickly mailed me another set of filters for free. The second set was perfect! I am grateful for both the seller's quick response and the working filters. I bought this kit to replace my HEPA filter and I am seriously considering digging my original HEPA filter out of the trash and putting it back in my air purifier. until I find a better replacement. At first glance, a HEPA filter might seem like a good match for an air purifier, but the HEPA plus carbon filter is too thick to easily fit when the plastic screen snaps over it. . (Note: I'm using my latest original Winix charcoal filter, not one of the charcoal filters that came with this replacement kit.) The bezel around the plastic screen is curved around the edges, making the screen look dated - as you can see. Judging by the images, there's already white cat hair that's almost completely sucked along the edge of the screen, just above the tip of my thumb. I slide the screen bezel toward the car, where it should be.) Perhaps worse, the new HEPA filter somehow alters the airflow when the air purifier is running at full blast. I don't know what's going on, but the result sounds very violent; it's not the smooth, steady flow of air that it used to be. Turbulence is present but not as disruptive at top mid fan speed and imperceptible at lower speeds. Unfortunately I leave my air purifier on high speed at night due to white noise while I sleep and it doesn't look like this is going to happen until I find a better replacement. While I have not attempted to use the charcoal filters provided with this kit, I have compared them to my most recent (and still clean) original Winix charcoal filter and found these replacement filters to be somewhat inadequate. They are thinner and spongier than the original, but I don't know if that would have made a noticeable difference. Long story short, unless I decide to scrap my old HEPA filter, I won't be using my air purifier until I find a better replacement. Disappointing.
