Review on Gamepad Microsoft Xbox Elite Wireless Controller Series 2, black by Bambang Jatmiko ᠌

Revainrating 1 out of 5

The product is of poor quality, I don't recommend it.

Prior to buying a Series 2 controller, I used a Series 1 controller for 4 years. I got it only due to the fact that in the old gamepad the left stick began to drift. I advise you to read the Advantages / Disadvantages section of my review before moving on to the conclusion. Conclusion: If you have a working gamepad series 1, then I do not advise you to purchase a gamepad series 2, because. there is not much difference between them. : after a month of use, I noticed a marriage on the RB and LB buttons. Pressing once triggers a double or triple press intermittently. Release date: 2029, i. E. gamepads made in July 2022 also have defects. Replaced via Microsoft support. They sent another gamepad, where there was a defect with the B button - it periodically does not register pressing. Tip: If you notice a marriage, then immediately return it to the store.

Pros
  • I will list the main improvements regarding the series 1 gamepad. 1. Battery is installed instead of batteries. I will refer this point to both + and -. I wrote about it in more detail in the Disadvantages. 2. Now you can save 4 profiles on the gamepad instead of 2. For some reason, the description on the product page says 3. The 4th profile allows you to use the elite gamepad as a regular gamepad. All reassignments are ignored. 3. The trigger stroke is now divided into 3 divisions, instead of 2. An additional division allows you to practically not pull the trigger (very small offset) 4. Redesigned sidebar design. I attached a photo of the series 1 gamepad and I think all owners have encountered this problem. In series 2, the sidebar is made into a single fragment, and as I understand it, there will be no such problem.
Cons
  • There are no objective shortcomings. I will list only those things that you need to get used to: 1. Series 2 rear paddles are smaller than Series 1. Fingers may slip at first if you've used a Series 1 controller before. It took me one gaming evening to get used to the new size 2. Instead of batteries, a battery is installed. As they say in the description, it lasts for 40 hours, but here the question is different: how much% of the capacity from the original value will remain in it after 3-4 years of operation? In the series 1 gamepad, I used AA batteries (there were 4 pieces in total). As soon as one pair was discharged, I quickly changed to a second one and continued to play. Series 2 (as well as series 1) comes with a cable that can be used to connect the console and the gamepad in case the second is discharged. I repeat here everyone decides what is more convenient for him. 3. The style of series 1 is better in my opinion, but it does not affect the game performance and feel in any way.

Has pros: Possibility to harden the sticks, trigger limiter, petals With its cons. I don't like the material. With a standard gamepad, my palms do not sweat. These are the opposite. It was supposed to be more tenacious, but I have the opposite effect.
