Pros: Quality seems good. The bottom is sealed, not open. Cons: Strong bacterial smell/taste if not washed daily, although I only use it for water. Shouldn't smell so fast. They creak when opening and closing (not as bad as the metal ones, but it's still noticeable in a quiet place). The whole point of a wedge can is that there is no plastic, so I also bought two stainless steel lids (the one with the bamboo lid and the other) and really prefer these! Yes, they creak a bit more, but that's not too bad if you're careful (don't press when closing or opening - lift a bit when screwing so the metal isn't touching as hard until the end). The bamboo one is slightly heavier than the stainless steel one, but is easier to carry with one finger.
