First, it's a good tape. I know some people have mentioned that removing the tape leaves some of their paper behind. Sometimes I had this problem, but it was caused by the tape being sticky. All you have to do is put the tape on something else to make it less durable and then put it on top of the paper. I work with 18x24 so when I pull out my tape it's quite long so I usually just tape it around the torso like tearing it off and then attach it to the paper. That way the tape doesn't stretch too much when you remove it. Just slowly peel it off and pull it off at an angle. The tape will be sticky. But it's a good band and I recommend it. I use it for my charcoal drawings and it seals the edges very well. Attached are photos of my work with tape drills (before and after removing the tape) and how I "peel off" the tape.
