Review on Bentgo Kids Chill Lunch Box: The Ultimate Solution for Kids' Furniture, Decor & Storage by Gerson Lagerquist

We love the fans in this product, they are the perfect size for my elementary school student. We also like that the clasp is easy to open and close and, like all Bentgo products, is easy to clean. We really like the cooling function, but unfortunately we rarely use this function due to memory issues. My child eats lunch 3 hours after lunch and has repeatedly commented that it was warm. We decided to test it out over a weekend and made sure the insert was fully frozen (in 24+ hours). We left it on the counter (in an air conditioned home at about 74 degrees, away from windows and sun) and found it was barely cold after 1 hour and completely warm after 1 1/2 hours. We ran the same test again the next day (after the liner refrozen completely), but this time in an insulated lunch box, and found that while it lasted a bit longer, it was still fully warm by the 2 hour mark . I would love to see this insert improved in future versions, I may have tried a different type of insert material (maybe another similar to traditional ice boxes with gel in the middle but also matching the lunch box insert).
