The horribly misleading photo makes them silver, but they are an ugly dark gray stainless steel.
These ear beads look SILVER in the photo but are made of dark gray stainless steel. In all my years of making jewelry I have seen nickel free earwires come in a very nice silver color but I can't use them with my silver plated silver pins or just silver pins. $10.99 down the drain. BEWARE! They don't look like the photo. It's an illusion. Maybe they chose the background like that... because it made the earwires more silvery.
