Review on 🔒 YARDLOCK MBX-2016Y-3ESF Keyless Gatelock: Enhancing Security for your Gate by David Hayden

I bought two of these for my new 8ft fence. One for single sided, the other for double sided. I spent over 3 hours figuring out how to translate millimeters into instructions so I use the correct US drill bit, have the correct cable hole angle so it is the right angle etc. then install. I ended up installing one on the side of the single gate and the lock side of the door where the (0000) side of the lock pulls down didn't close easily. I literally had to slam it shut, and even then it didn't always close and lock the gate. Now I have these holes in my new fence. Then I started looking online for a new one and I saw this on the website of a major hardware store chain. Have I missed or lost this spring?! NO. These are instructions. I bet a spring would help it close. I will email the company, hopefully they do better testing on users. UPDATE: Found and bought one with a spring, easy install as the holes were already drilled, same National YardLock company so they must be different models. And so far so good with the pen. See updated photos. It closes as expected but my score stays with this model. I also emailed the company directly and received no response. Bad sign. I won't buy a second one until it proves a 'third'.
