Fairly strong, better with full jugs on. assembly was. Interesting. I continued to place the pieces back-to-front and upside down, but it's not scary. Looks good, much better than the jugs on the floor. Note: If you fill these bottles yourself, they will obviously tip over, causing leakage if you don't have a suitable lid. Probably obvious, but I didn't think of that when I bought it :)
