The sound quality of these headphones is excellent, both on the computer and on my phone. The extension has a volume control and a mute button. I used headphones with a microphone to call my husband and he said that he can hear me very well, even when I call people sometimes I can hardly hear the conversation and with these headphones I hear perfectly. This also happens with my computer. I highly recommend them. I think they will be ideal for home business.
