I ordered these because they reminded me of the shakers my grandmother used when we were growing up. It's hard to find plastic salt and pepper shakers with colored lids and I was very happy when I stumbled upon them. However, they arrived wrapped in so-called garbage bags. They also came in three pieces and I broke two nails trying to put the top two pieces together (not the lid and base but the moving valve). It was almost impossible to attach and I wonder why it hasn't been assembled like this yet. Other than that, they work very well.
