Ordered for front door to replace existing ones. The latter are worn out and this is the only solution that suits our front door. I can't fit those thick pipes in the pocket dividers and the gap under the door is bad for insulation and bug entry this season. Installation was easy. Unscrewed the last one and pulled it out - tried to line up the screw holes but it wasn't the same as the previous one so I had to drill new holes for it. . I assume many other methods will work as well. Built-in and mounted doors hardly move without deliberately bumping them. I'm sure it will wear down to an acceptable level of stiffness after a while, but I'd prefer a stiffer drag than drafts and bugs. I recommend!
