I bought this remote control to do two very weak things: control my Apple TV and adjust the volume on my receiver. First the volume: I have no idea how to set this up. Basically, following the instructions doesn't do anything. And there's no way to select my device directly from the list, you just have to repeat these very cryptic steps over and over again. However, this does not lead to any result. Next Apple TV: The Apple TV basically learns from EVERY remote control. It scans every incoming signal and adjusts it itself. But apparently this remote doesn't send our NO signal at all, even though the red LED flashes when you press the button. I've used many other remotes with this system so I know it works. I was really hoping for a waterproof remote as the TV is in front of my hot tub. But no! That is trash.
