Review on CORSAIR Carbide Mid Tower Solid Panel by Lawrence Feldman

Great case for the price!

Great case for the money, the main thing is that you don't need space for external drives. It won't compete well with something like the Define R4, but it does cost more. Pros: Good, solid construction. Tons of cooling capacity, and since there are no drive bays, airflow is really uncomplicated. Plenty of room to hide cables Power button and ports on the front on the side (this is a plus if your setup is up for it) ) ) The screws holding the side panels seem very cheap, the Threads don't grab that easily. The cover that hides the power supply also ensures that you can't just plug another cable into the power supply, you have to remove the back panel to access it. There are no /trays slots for external drives like an optical drive. I had some software I needed to boot from the DVD, so I just plugged in the optical drive and laid it on the counter next to the case until everything loaded, then pulled it out and closed the case. Excellent price. I would buy another.

Pros
  • Looking forward to it
Cons
  • Crumpled
