Review on Philips Norelco Replacement QP220 80 by Lisa Frank

This is one of those scams where they make a product that is good while it lasts but RUNS FAST so they can sell you replacement blades. They even have a subscription program to get new blades every three months. I bought it to shave my head and trim my beard to the right length. I use about two or three times a week. These blades will dull in a maximum of three weeks and cost $9 per blade when you purchase 2 packs of Revain. From a functional point of view, I've never had a razor that works so well (when it's new!). Out of the many electric razors I've tried, this one works the best. But once you realize you're going to be changing blades so often, the math starts to make less and less sense. I've had this thing for half a year now and I'm pretty sure I've spent over $100. I knew I would be spending $18 on blades every month. It doesn't make sense as the other electric razors I've used are still working YEARS later and I've never replaced the blades. I simply prefer the One Blade because of how small it is and how smooth the first shave was. A dream product - the blades are MADE TO WEAR FAST. I am looking for another product. Don't reward this company for developing a doomed product so they can get you into a Blade subscription!
