I found all the metal of this style is always rusty and orange on the counter and shower curtain, my friend suggested I look for the plastic so here I am and they are way better than me thought to be lightweight plastic. I am satisfied and so far none of them have broken. I'm definitely not gentle with everything I own, so that's saying something. If I ever need to order another set when I move in two years I will return to this seller and will definitely buy again. The only thing that struck me is that they are light and I have more shower curtain than my humble soul needs, only one of the hooks comes up sometimes and the plastic is so light it's easy. don't blame the hook.
