The name says it all: it was meant to be a computing platform that kept the heat off your knees. The product image shows a MacBook Pro happily sitting on the device. Great concept, bad execution. First, it is a product benchmark developed by one company for use by multiple manufacturers. You can find many different manufacturers selling the same product, just the icon above is different. As for that badge, it's so thick that it supports my MacBook Pro so much in the middle that only 2 or 3 of the legs touch the rubberized surface. As for that surface: It's so smooth that every time I press the keyboard, my MacBook Pro slides and slides across the top of the platform. Look elsewhere if you don't want to spend your hard-earned money.
