Totally inaccurate readings
Me and everyone else measure around 88-90F. Obviously it's 8-10 degrees Fahrenheit, so if you have a COVID case with a fever, that would show 108 Fahrenheit as 98.7 Fahrenheit! Also, it killed my AAA batteries which were left in it without use for weeks. This thing is junk and using it for COVID safety measures could result in deaths. Update 1 year later. He wanted to use it, put in new batteries (tried it twice with two sets!), and he writes to Lo with 2 half battery strips and refuses to take any readings. JUNK and I never had the opportunity to use it when I needed to.
