Although much larger than our original 6 liter version it still produces the best pot roast and vegetables, rice and Chinese food. We cooked 3 1/2 pounds of stew and seared the meat with no effort. We found that adding some water or broth to the rice made it much better. You have to experiment yourself to your taste. Just in case, we took two extra pads, they are inexpensive and take up little space. Unfortunately, few accessories are available for the 10 qt version and our small 6 qt container looks lost in the big pot. BTW: We had NONE of the Teflon peeling issues that are often mentioned in some reviews.
