I had to really work to get these to clamp down since there was no split along the neck. However, once i did muscle it closed, it does feel very secure on the wire. I used it on 4AWG marine cable for a boat battery setup, and I feel confident that the cable is not going to slip out of the ring connector. Would have felt a little better about a bit thicker insulation on the shrinkwrap, but it would be too far to say that it was bad at all.

These are nice heavy duty lugs. Running some serious gear? The these are your lugs. And with the additional heat shrink added you get protection and a cleaner install.

A little lighter than I thought they'd be, but they solder well and are sturdy enough for the switch and breaker terminals in my RV.

It's a good product but when I received it, it was already tarnishing. I'll have to polish them when I open it up. The lugs may not be suitable for use with certain types of automotive electrical systems.

Rated them 4 because I haven't had time to properly evaluate them. seems to be quite stout. Haven't been installed long enough to measure durability.had to find a crimping tool to attach these things to the cables.

I am somewhat disappointed in the quality of the InstallGear 10 Gauge AWG Tinned Pure Copper Lugs Ring Terminals Connectors with Heat Shrink that I received. They appear to be of lesser quality than other 10 gauge copper lugs that I have been using in my solar system. The weight of each lug is noticeably less than the weight of other lugs, which causes me to be concerned about the overall quality and durability.

Purchased 4AWG 7/16 ring terminals seem a bit larger than true 4AWG maybe a 1/16 too big. Not a huge deal considering I will be crimping and soldering for a good reliable long term solution. Overall A+

Like some reviewers this is not a 10gauge lug.Inside barrel dia. measures .165 to .171in. not .125(1/8")in. 10gauge stranded wire is .116in. dia. 8gauge is .146in.dia.according to online gauge chart.The eye thickness is thin .035in.as compared to a standard auto store yellow #12-#10 eye connector which measured at .045in. thickness.Another seller on Revain has there 10gauge lug charted at 1.3mm which .051in.thickness with some mixed reviews.The pictures for this product are deceptive and…

Lugs seems good quality, however they are not what I ordered. I ordered 4 AWG and received 1/0 size. They were labeled 4 AWG, but there is a second label underneath that has the correct size (1/0). These will be returned as I have no use for this size lug

Used it for 8ga battery terminals on a golf cart with no problem. As recommended these are heavy duty and need a strong crimping tool.

Great quality connectors. I use a vice to clamp them onto the wiring and they are very sturdy. Nice, thick red and black heat shrink is a great addition, making these a great product and excellent value.

The shrink sleeves are so large that they barely shrink down to the diameter of the fitting which means your wire must be larger then 4 gauge to get a good fit. So they will work down to 4 gauge wire but sleeve size is way overkill on size.

These lugs are ment for 2 gauge wire. When I crimped on proper settings the 4 gauge wire could easily slide out. Triple checked my settings and everything was correct I decided to lower the crimp size to 6 gauge and it seemed to be good enough.

I need 10awg to 5/16 &/or 3/8 (both from this multipack). (I couldn't find what I needed.) They say 1/4 and that's what they are. If you try to drill them larger they get ruined. The product is good and as described, and at a great value, but not what I needed. ((Better than the $40 wasted at NAPA.))

I have had difficulty crimping this with a hand tool, relative to other lugs of about the same size. I have also noticed more residue on the interior compared to similar products, and would recommend cleaning the inside with a Qtip and alcohol before use. No major complaints though.

These terminals are of good quality. The heat shrink bits are nice as well. I honestly don't know how much these should cost but they didn't seem overly expensive and they worked very well.

Great lugs for the price. Shrink wrap is a bit thin and a bit large but works great. Lugs are tough so you will need a good crimping tool. No doubt those wires will hold.

Had to modify a lil for my application but a great product I use this brand for my entire car audio system Thanks for attention.

Great lugs! Had to order them twice. Post office decided they wanted the first set and kept them for themselves! I can see why- these cable lugs are exactly what was needed!
