Review on 🔲 Melissa & Doug Shape Model Activity Set by Patrick Reynolds

I bought this for my 3 year old daughter to use with her bake toys in the kitchen and she loves it. She loves to bake and roll out dough for cookies and cakes and she imitates that very well. She really enjoys using all the rolling pins and watching the different patterns they create as well as the stamps. When she first opened it, she played with it for over an hour. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is that the putty is a bit difficult to handle and has an odd smell. The smell doesn't seem to bother them at all, maybe I'm just used to the more popular plasticine I grew up with. This playdough isn't that soft, and it took a lot of help to roll out at first. At first she was a bit upset, but we got over it. I think I'll buy a packet of other dough to go with it. I have to say the dough that comes with it has its advantages, it's a bit firmer, maybe that was the thought when making it, it doesn't get stuck in all the grooves of the dies and rolling pins, which makes this toy very easy to clean. I also like that it is made of natural wood. The products are very durable and everything I have ever bought from Melissa & Doug has performed very well. All in all I would definitely recommend this to others who have little bakers or kids who like to play with stuff like this.
