I use them for different purposes. One is when I pull my hair up to hold the strands and hair that still needs to grow ¼ to ½ inch before it stays up. They work much better than invisible bobby pins that don't have enough grip or strength and just slide around. I have transparent ones (I have blonde hair) and they look better than a bunch of invisible hair placed to hold the hair. I only need one or two. They are also great when I have my hair down, I like to keep my hair out of my face (I don't like headbands). I'm sure I'll find more uses, but I just wanted to style loose hair and they're perfect for that.
