Review on ๐Ÿ–Š๏ธ Ultra-Fine Silicone Tip Stylus Pen - Compatible with All Capacitive Touch Screens Cell Phones, Tablets, Laptops Bundle (Silver) by Angie Walker

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Just what I wanted: Stylus pens

Half an inch shortest active stylus with no metal tip I've found with a pocket clip. It's actually short enough to fit comfortably in my shirt pocket. It's also much lighter than the 2nd generation MEKO pen which I used to like and thought would fly when I tilt or rotate it. It seems to work fine on my Samsung Galaxy J7 phone as requested. The Galaxy Tab A 10.1 is a little less sensitive, but recognizes the stylus when I press and hold briefly. Luckily, I needed a portable pen mainly with the phone. There's no meaningful documentation, just a few poorly translated words from Chinese, including a nonsensical statement that the device uses Bluetooth (it doesn't). It's not mentioned anywhere that I can find: the power button glows red while charging (after a couple of hours or so), changes color to blue when charging, or when turned on for use. However, it can be difficult to see the light outdoors, even on cloudy days. The tip is made of soft silicone, apparently unlike most other probes as light pressure increases the contact area and improves sensitivity. It also suggests that fine detail resolution might be compromised, but I haven't found this on a Galaxy phone. Tip bends under pressure: why are there 5 interchangeable tips? I will be careful. I also don't see how to change the tip: maybe by pulling straight out, but I won't try until I have to.

Pros
  • Great for me
Cons
  • No instructions
