I use it to dose nootropics and other powders with an accuracy of 0.001. For extremely low doses, I definitely recommend that people learn to dose substances by volume if they are concerned about inaccuracies and tolerability. I usually connect the device with the supplied cable to avoid inaccuracies when the batteries run low. that using paper to weigh with these scales is nearly impossible. The weight of the paper will never be constant when you pick up and put down the paper. This is where the little tray comes in handy, but powders love to stick to it. So I could try attaching/attaching weight paper to the bowl (or making my own bowl) to make it easier to transfer nonstick powders. It's a pretty good value for what you pay for. However, if you want a super accurate and accurate scale, you should be prepared to shell out $300 instead of $30.
