I eat a lot of raw vegetables, salads, steamed vegetables and fruit. I rarely eat meat, mostly on weekends. I use it primarily as a dietary supplement, not as a meal replacement. As you can see from my photo, I mix it with almond milk, frozen banana, mixed berries, and flaxseed. The combination of the mixed ingredients makes it so enjoyable. 22 grams of protein and only 1 gram of sugar and 1 gram of carbohydrates make it a very good product for diabetics like me. It actually helps me control my blood sugar because I have less cravings for sweets and bread, which are the worst things about being a diabetic. I definitely get more sugar from frozen fruit than I do from the protein itself. Pretty skinny guy and I'm pretty active. I've tried different protein powders like Muscle Milk, Trader Joe's, Myoplex, etc. This is my favorite and it tastes great. If you don't like the taste, just mix in a frozen banana. This is of great importance.
