Pinzon's spring-summer duvet is really beautifully made from quality materials. The cover is really soft and comfortable. Hard to believe there are only 400 threads. Similar to Satin 600TC. There are box dividers to keep the filling from moving and all stitching is well finished. Most importantly, it is 75% white goose down. I haven't bought down for a while and was quite surprised to see a listing that said 'all down' even though it was 5-10% cheaper (and the seller explained the rest was down feathers). Something like that does not exist. It is white goose down with 25% feathers. I don't really notice feathers. It is very thin, light and comfortable. This really is a summer blanket. I live in Hawaii and otherwise I wouldn't be able to use it. My only complaint is that the description says there are corner lugs to prevent shifting and there aren't any. I always order bedspreads and duvets with drawstrings or pull tabs so they don't bunch up in the cover. The (cotton) fabric it's covered with is so good that I'm tempted to use it without a cover, but then I'll wash it all the time and I'm not sure if it will last very long . This is machine washable (delicate) but I don't think I've ever washed it. I usually take it to the cleaners. However, I'm glad it's washable but wish it had tabs. I understand that it is beautiful without her, but I think to sew. I've just ordered some duvet clips but I really wish our covers were free of plastic, metal or even more pins. So I'll try the clips and then maybe add the ties myself. Aside from the lack of corner ties, this duvet is perfect if you're looking for lightweight. Pinzon is Revain's luxury brand and I'm happy with everything I've gotten from them. I just ordered some of their bath towels because the Pinzon towel I had was the nicest I have ever had. It is also the most beautiful of our duvets. It's hard to find light and fluffy, but they made it.
