I chose this mount for my Benq 3550 mainly because I needed an 8.6" standoff (advertised) to fit my screen with no - or keystone correction. I ended up getting almost 9 inches after everything was attached. I had to get different screws than those included in the kit, but that's what I expected. My local hardware store had what was needed. The round part of the mount had 4 (instead of 3) spiral slots that allowed me to mount the projector very close to its center of gravity. I still had to tilt the projector up slightly to get it perfectly perpendicular to the screen (not a trapezoid), but the hex wrench nuts did the trick, being tight without being too tight to hand tighten them a bit to move. The trick is always to allow some adjustment while still staying where you placed it (since tightening itself can cause movement). I've had good luck with this far and it stayed where I executed it . Since I have a screen, I aimed to get the image as large right between the edges (from all four sides) as possible. This vehicle allowed me (in my case) to repeat it without keystone distortion. Your experience may vary but I think it's a good vehicle.
