Tiny and overpriced for the size but I knew that from the description and reviews. However my 4 year old granddaughter was playing a game on her tablet and many toys were shown on a screen and when she touched the toy the woman told her what it was and was accompanied by the appropriate sound. One of the toys was this top that the lady called a top and my granddaughter kept touching this toy and asking me if she could have one. Top that I remembered from my childhood - but these apparently don't exist anymore (or are worn out as collectible and insanely expensive). There are a few small ones made out of tin but reviews are very poor due to the quality, small size and good durability - most fall apart and arrive damaged. her game, and it's hard plastic, so hopefully it will hold up while she learns how to spin it. So I ordered this because she really wanted to know what it was and trying to describe it just doesn't convey her direct experience. I knew it wouldn't have the old metal sounds when pumped up to spin, but it's pretty close as it has a metal pump shaft/knob. It arrived safe and sound made of durable plastic. It has light and sound, but I was warned beforehand how annoying and noisy this thing could be, so I didn't even remove the plastic protective film from the battery, and my granddaughter actually broke the tab so she accidentally turned it off herself, for Turn on. I still haven't opened the battery door to remove the plastic barrier as I don't want to deal with extra noise until maybe she's a little older and has better control of her emotions and doesn't get upset when asked to play with it in the other place. She is very happy with it with no noise (she doesn't know that it makes different noise than the natural noise when you inflate it). Show and tell about toy experiences! She played with him for a few days and now she only plays occasionally. But now she knows exactly what a yula (Yula) is and what she does.
