Review on Safeman® Cable Lock for 🔐 Skis and Snowboards - Keyed Multifunctional Lock by Ryan Gillett

I really wanted to like this product but something is wrong with mine. It was great for my first snowboard ride - I was able to attach my snowboard (and my mate's board) to the rack via the bindings. But on the last two rides, the cables got caught and overlapped each other, making unwinding almost impossible (see photo of cable overlap). I know this isn't user error because I've practiced winding it very carefully at home and the cords still get stuck when I try to untangle it. Not sure if this can be fixed. You can just buy another lock with a simpler winding mechanism. Even when it worked well, it didn't spin effortlessly.
