Review on π Enhanced Subaru 72880FG000 Cabin Air Filter for Optimal Performance by Ethan Carpenter
The new ones are made in China not Japan
So I ordered (2) of these filters and they both said 'Made in China' on the packaging. From what I saw online they were supposed to be made in Japan so I immediately thought they weren't real. After checking photos of filter boxes on the internet, I found that they were outdated and apparently only the first ones were made in Japan. The factory I removed from my 2019 WRX looked identical (except it was dirty). The new one fit perfectly. are they real Possibly, but next time I might choose the WIX filter.
