The filter is good, with visual and tactile quality. The assembly is not so easy due to the Subaru project. Watch a video on how to remove the glove box without damaging anything and use a nylon spatula to remove the dashboard side panel. Do not use a screwdriver except with a cloth to protect the plastic.

Subaru brand filters. I change filters every 15,000 km. The Subaru brand will be consistent and I trust the product to do the job it was designed to do. Perfect fit, easy installation, less than 5 minutes. The hardest part of this setup was removing the "shock absorber" compartment that allows the glove box to open slowly. This filter is inserted into the slot after the old filter is removed. No tools required, easy installation.

I almost sent it back because it was not adequately protected and the flutes were a bit cracked from being jammed in the shipping carton. I spent a good 15-20 minutes carefully flexing/disconnecting the fins which were compressed when packed. I will not buy the next one from these people. If it wasn't for the youth wrapping work I would have given it 5 stars. By the way, this is a Subaru OEM filter.
