Review on 🧹 Quickie 428 Aluminum Dustpan 17” – Heavy Duty Precision Edge for Efficient Outdoor/Indoor Cleaning by Jill Smith

Very good dustpan. It's a good size, light weight and well made. This should take quite a long time. I'm only deducting 2 stars because of the large label on the pan. It doesn't peel off. The glue seems to harden in the pan. I poured hot water over it hoping to soften it. However, this label has a top plastic coating that prevents water from getting onto the paper side of the label. And if you get a small piece, it's only the top of the label. The paper and sticky part says it's tied to a baking sheet. Then I used Goo Gone and it helped a little. The problem is that the paper doesn't allow the Goo Gone to work on the glue. It must be a PERFECT label that cannot be easily removed. I spent over 30 minutes constantly working on it - with my nails etc. My efforts left little marks on the soft aluminum - beautiful. One thing I haven't tried but might try that usually works with glue is heating it up. Maybe use a hot dryer to see if it works. If you need more heat, you can use a heat gun. Much luck. I hope the manufacturer understands this and uses a different label. My time is valuable. I will not buy this pan again. I will pay more to buy it from someone else. Try heat or live with sticky label.
