Very soft, high quality material, the elastic keeps the pants on you but doesn't squeeze the life out of you. As mentioned in other reviews, works more than usual. would normally order XL) hope this helps. Note: I wish they had pajama tops too - short or long/3/4 sleeves, with a relaxed V-neck or something.
